Senior Customer Success Manager
Walid brings more than a decade of experience leading operations and customer support efforts for digital and technology-enabled product and service companies to MD Energy Advisors (MDEA). He serves as the focal point for Uplight’s engagement with utility customers and is responsible for overseeing the implementation and utilization of market-leading marketplace, energy savings, and other select products in New Jersey.
He works collaboratively in a cross-functional capacity with various Uplight team members, including Engineering, Product, Operations, Regulatory, Sales, and Marketing to deliver measurable value for MDEA's customers. Prior to joining MD Energy Advisors, Walid honed his skills managing all aspects of client relationships for web, email marketing, and cloud-based solutions service providers; most recently serving as the Head of Operations and Client Services, Topica at Infostreet. At Topica, he rose through the ranks from Customer Service Manager to Vice President of Customer Service, ensuring business objectives were aligned with overall corporate strategy and marketing efforts, while focusing on innovative solutions and process improvement initiatives.
Before beginning his career in customer success, Walid earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from American University in Law & Society, while minoring in Creative Writing.
