Collins

Retail Merchandiser I

The team at Maryland Energy Advisors welcomes Rhonda Collins as an Energy Efficient Product Merchandiser for the Georgia Power service territory in the Atlanta metro area. In this role, Rhonda supports the growth and expansion of energy efficiency products and solutions offered by Georgia Power around Atlanta by visiting retail locations and making sure that current offers and products are up to date, are correctly priced, and that point-of-sales staff are properly trained on active promotions.

Rhonda brings nearly a decade of hands-on retail merchandising experience with Fruit of the Loom, a division of the Vanity Fair Brands, a division of Fruit of the Loom, Inc. and another ten years with Hanesbrands before that. She trained and led a team of twenty people and was responsible for optimizing client exposure to products in order to achieve sales goals for those organizations. Those critical skills create a solid foundation that Rhonda now uses to assist consumers and commercial clients during the process of  evaluating and upgrading energy and utility use, efficiencies, and cost effectiveness.

Rhonda has an associate's degree in arts from the Art Institute of Atlanta and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from American InterContinental University’s Atlanta, Georgia campus; both degrees were focused on fashion marketing.
