Matthew is a dedicated and experienced retail manager and merchandiser. In his role at MD Energy Advisors, he supports the growth and expansion of the utilities' energy efficiency products in Upstate New York. 

Matthew provides education and information about the utility's products in approximately 150 retail locations throughout the service territory, ensuring products are accurately priced. He manages day-to-day activities for field visits, schedules and staffs special events at big box retail locations and provides education to employees at retail locations on the product benefits and best practices for selling products to consumers, including savings opportunities.     

Matthew began his career at one of the nation's largest big box retailers in store merchandising. He subsequently progressed in retail as a store manager for multiple national brands, gaining expertise in the Binghamton and Upstate New York markets by assisting in the management of daily store operations, including inventory management, cash handling, and customer service, as well as training and supervising teams of associates to reach goals.
