Matthew Toudouze joins Maryland Energy Advisors as an Energy Auditor. This role supports the day-to-day operations of residential utility energy efficiency and home weatherization programs through community-level engagement with qualified homeowners in New Jersey.

Excellent customer service is a must in any industry and prior to joining MDEA, Matthew handled some of the most complex for banking and financial services, including the intricacies of estate, conservatorship and guardianship products. Now as he transitions into his role as an Energy Auditor, those skills come to bear in another area requiring a high degree of transparency and trust: in-home evaluation of residential properties. Entering and auditing a private home requires extreme discretion in order to maintain the homeowner's privacy, and Matthew's background in banking has instilled a client-first mindset that values confidentiality and professional conduct. Combined with his independent decision-making, exceptional attention to detail and ability to identify risks in complex systems, Matthew is a great asset to the Energy Audit team.

Matthew earned a bachelor's degree in Business Management from Wilmington University in Delaware.
