Community Engagement Representative II
Maryland Energy Advisors is pleased to have Manny join the team as a Community Engagement Representative for the greater Baltimore, Maryland area. This important role processes HVAC rebate applications for contractors and distributors to accurately and efficiently help ensure funds are received in a timely fashion. He also answers questions about the program and promotes various energy efficient solutions and equipment based on the client's needs.
Manny has a comprehensive understanding of HVAC and electrical field applications for both residential and commercial structures and has worked with insulation and energy-saving upgrades for both. Licensed as a journeyman electrician since 2024, Manny has practical, hands-on experience with residential rough-ins and trim-outs, commercial fit-outs, service and panel upgrades, electric vehicle charger and generator installs which makes him an ideal candidate to understand the intricacies of electrician work so he can correctly guide contractors and distributors on best solutions. In addition, he also spent over five years as a project manager for residential/multifamily home energy performance and weatherization projects with Zerodraft Maryland.
Manny graduated from Goucher College in Towson, Maryland with a bachelor's degree in business management. He remains a licensed journeyman electrician, has a certification as a Building Analyst Professional (BAP) from the Building Performance Institute (BPI), and has been certified for Aerosol Duct Sealing, a proprietary certification offered by Aeroseal, LLC. Manny is also fluent in both English and Spanish.
