Junior Energy Engineer
Kiersten is an emerging engineering talent who is passionate about learning, helping others, and preserving our environment. At MD Energy Advisors, Kiersten supports energy consulting projects such as energy modeling, energy audits and retro-commissioning.

Kiersten works with senior engineers in project development for HVAC and other ancillary systems by gathering data from on-site audits, performing engineering calculations for efficiency and facility improvement measures, and performing energy modeling and reporting.

Prior to joining MDEA, Kiersten worked in control systems as both a designer and engineer at major firms in North Carolina, where most recently, she designed control systems architecture for building automation systems specifically related to HVAC industry.

Kiersten earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering Technology from SUNY Polytechnic Institute. She was involved in numerous athletic activities and clubs at the university, including softball, cross country and soccer. Kiersten also received several honors there, including the SUNY Poly Most Outstanding Award (MVP Award).
