MD Energy Advisors welcomes Gabrielle Diaz as an Energy Advisor for Maryland's Eastern Shore area, where she supports Delmarva Power's "Energy Savings for Business" program. Part of the statewide EmPower Maryland initiative, this program helps Maryland businesses reduce upfront and operational costs for commercial properties by providing incentives, rebates, and technical support for energy-efficient upgrades.

Gabrielle has been focused on environmental challenges and using sustainability solutions since college. Before joining MDEA, she worked as a sustainability project manager for Caroline County Public Schools, where she tackled food waste challenges with recycling initiatives, composting measures, and aeroponic tower gardens for growing fresh produce on-site. Now in her current role, she acts as a consumer advocate to ensure customers are provided with accurate and actionable knowledge about energy efficiency rebate programs in the marketplace.

Gabrielle received a Bachelor of Science in Sustainability Studies from Hood College in Frederick, Maryland.
