Engineering Lead (Georgia Power)

Devin is an integral part of the MD Energy Advisors’ team, providing technical assistance and guidance on energy efficient technologies and practices to companies participating in utility-sponsored programs. He prepares and reviews technical specifications and engineering calculations for commercial and industrial energy efficiency projects and provides expert program analysis.


Devin brings a wealth of experience to this role, having held key engineering positions at several industry leading companies, including Johnson Controls and Sodexo. His experience is steeped in the design, audit, retrofit and performance of commercial, industrial, educational, and retail spaces; as well as in managing teams of engineers. Prior to joining MD Energy Advisors, he managed FirstEnergy's commercial and industrial energy efficiency program for major utilities, including: Toledo Edison, Ohio Edison, Cleveland Illuminating Co., Potomac Edison, Penn Power, West Penn Power, Med-Ed, and Penelec.


Devin is a Certified Energy Manager® (CEM®). He holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a Master of Science in Architectural Engineering, both from Purdue University.
