Derek Frisch joins Maryland Energy Advisors as a Field Technician in New Jersey. Daniel supports residential and consumer-grade energy efficiency and weatherization undertakings throughout the state for qualified customers.

Prior to working with MDEA, Derek worked with CMC Energy Services as a Level 3 Quality Inspector after working as a Field Technician III for two years. He inspects completed jobs to ensure program standards have been met and that customers are satisfied with the services performed. Derek continues to be a asset for homeowners as he works with utility partners, program managers, and other field services professionals, to ensure the quality of daily efficiency tasks and weatherproofing measures. Educating consumers on energy use and real-world energy efficiencies they can establish in their own homes, Derek delivers the right combination of practical advice and competent expertise needed by New Jersey residents.

Derek obtained an Associate's degree of Applied Science with a focus on commercial energy management technologies from Raritan Valley Community College in Branchburg, New Jersey and is currently pursuing Environmental Studies with Wesleyan University – Ohio.
