Energy Engineer

Stephanie is a multifaceted engineer with a unique combination of technical and people skills, including expertise identifying environmental and sustainability concerns, energy efficiency implementation, innovative green idea generation and more. She is a vital member of the MD Energy Advisors team supporting program implementation for Georgia Power’s commercial energy efficiency programs.

 

In her role, Stephanie conducts on-site energy assessments, analyzes the energy performance of commercial buildings to determine cost-effective energy efficiency upgrades, and prepares and reviews technical specifications and engineering calculations for commercial and industrial energy efficiency projects. Critically, Stephanie uses data and analysis in her interactions with building managers to motivate them to make energy efficiency upgrades in existing buildings.

 

Prior to MDEA, Stephanie worked with multiple engineering firms in Michigan where she held positions as both an environmental and energy engineer. Most recently she consulted with clients and contractors, and collaborated with colleagues as an Energy Engineer II, implementing a large business energy efficiency program.

 

Stephanie earned a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Engineering from Michigan State University. In addition to her engineering expertise, Stephanie is also 200-hr yoga and Reiki certified.
