Wendell is an engineer with incredibly diverse skills in energy efficiency and energy assurance business development, including energy saving performance, renewable energy, and electricity and natural gas procurement.

In his role with MD Energy Advisors, Wendell sources new, and replaces and upgrades existing outdoor lighting on behalf of Baltimore Gas & Electric. He also builds and maintains relationships across industries, supporting the performance improvement, upgrading, and safety of outdoor lighting.

Wendell is an expert in the sector and has been tapped to speak on lighting efficiency. While with Constellation Energy Solutions as the Senior Business Development Manager, he addressed the Maryland Association of Counties Winter Conference on the topic: "Energy Efficient Street Lighting & Smart City Technology.” 

 

Wendell has more than 20 years of experience in senior energy project management and consulting roles. He's accomplished several feats during his tenures, including development of a $13M energy saving performance contracting project for the Baltimore City Public School System (MD) and a $150M 'hybrid’ energy savings performance contracting and CIP project for the Prince George’s County Public School System (MD). He managed Allegheny County's (PA) $25M energy saving performance contracting projects, and developed a 10 MW combined heat and power mission critical resiliency project for Whiteman Air Force Base (MO).
