PE, CEM, Senior Energy Engineer

Jonathan is responsible for MD Energy Advisors’ sponsored programs that encourage energy efficiency in commercial, industrial, schools, and government buildings. He provides technical assistance for energy efficient technologies and analysis for energy performance to determine cost-effective energy efficiency upgrades.


Jonathan brings more than 15 years of experience improving building energy efficiency, reducing water consumption, lowering CO2 production, and achieving cost savings to MD Energy Advisors. He is an internationally recognized energy efficiency and HVAC expert and has overseen the financing, design, construction, and project management of sustainable buildings throughout Europe, Asia, North America, and the Middle East.


He holds numerous awards and accreditations. Jonathan was selected for the Robert Bosch Foundation Fellowship and is also a recipient of the Congress-Bundestag Cultural Exchange (Parlamentarisches Patenschafts Program). He holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and Physics from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee, graduating Cum Laude; and a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Columbia University. Jonathan is a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) and a Certified Energy Manager® (CEM®) from the Association of Energy Engineers.
