Energy Advisor

Ethan is an energy efficiency professional with progressive experience in economic development, public outreach, project development and program management. He also brings excellent technical knowledge on energy efficiency technologies and energy savings solutions such as lighting, HVAC and mechanical systems to MD Energy Advisors (MDEA). In his role, Ethan builds and maintains relationships with major client prospects, as well as key customer accounts on both the commercial and industrial program teams.

Prior to MDEA, Ethan was the program manager for the Mississippi State Energy Office, managing and implementing the state's non-regulatory public and private sector energy efficiency programs. During his tenure, he closed over $350k in Energy Efficiency Revolving Loan Funds to finance energy-conserving capital improvements for municipal governments; and monitored and managed projects awarded under the Mississippi Industrial Energy Efficiency Program, a competitive grant program for Mississippi manufacturers sub-awarded from $530k in State Energy Program funds from the U.S. Department of Energy.

Ethan also has an advanced educational background, earning a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Economics & Management from Mississippi State University and a Master of Science in Agricultural & Applied Economics from the University of Georgia.
