Retail Energy Efficiency Field Outreach Specialist
Tony is an experienced sales representative and manager, whose nearly two decades of sales and client service expertise supports MDEA's growth in the New York area through management of ConEdison’s (ConEd) expansion of its energy efficiency products.
Tony implements critical field outreach and merchandising services to retailers of energy-efficient lighting products and appliances across the five Boroughs of New York City and Westchester County. He provides education to employees at retail locations on the product benefits and best practices for selling products to consumers, as well as assists clients with understanding potential savings opportunities.
He began his career with Sell-Thru Services, based in Austin TX, representing its client, Procter & Gamble, by selling their products to new and existing accounts in the Brooklyn-Queens area. There, he honed his expertise in New York City. Tony went on to become a "Top Volume Lead Account Manager" at Coca-Cola Enterprises, training and managing teams in Brooklyn and Staten Island. His direct sales expertise led him to work for consumer goods company, Crossmark, where he was assigned to multiple products and promotions and became dedicated to the ConEd team covering Brooklyn, Queens, and Staten Island, and steeped in knowledge about the company.
